Privacy policy

Pending: the company identification details (full legal name, CUI, trade register number and registered address) are still to be added. This document is a template and must be reviewed by a Romanian lawyer before the site goes live.

This policy explains what personal data we collect through this site, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.

Who the controller is

The data controller is Domira Imobiliare, an estate agency operating in Cluj-Napoca. The full identification details will be filled in above. You can reach us using the details on the contact page.

What we collect

We collect only what you send us through the contact form and through the enquiry form on property pages:

  • Your name
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address, if you choose to give it
  • The message you write
  • The property the enquiry started from, if you sent it from a property page
  • The page you sent the form from, the language of the site and, if you arrived from a campaign, its parameters (UTM)

Name and telephone number are required, because without them we cannot reply. The rest is optional. This site never asks for your national identification number, identity document details or bank details.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We use your data only to answer your enquiry and to carry on the conversation about the property you are interested in.

  • The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by ticking the consent box before you send the form.
  • If the conversation moves towards a transaction, processing is carried out in order to enter into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We do not use form data to send you newsletters or unsolicited commercial messages.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for two years from our last contact with you, so that we can pick the conversation up again if you come back. After that we delete them. If the conversation results in a contract, the related documents are kept for the period Romanian law requires for accounting and contractual records.

Who has access

Your data is visible only to the agency’s consultants, who sign in to the site’s admin panel. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to other agencies, developers, banks or brokers.

Apart from the hosting providers described below, no third party receives the data you send through the form.

Where your data is stored

The site and the uploaded files (the property photographs) are held on servers in Europe. Enquiries sent through the form are saved in a database hosted by Neon, in the AWS us-east-2 region, Ohio, United States of America. Your name, telephone number, email address and message are therefore stored outside the European Union.

The transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, under which the database hosting provider is certified. The certification can be checked on the official Framework list.

Cookies

The site uses strictly necessary cookies, which it cannot work without and which cannot be turned off. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) load only after you agree in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, they are not activated. You can change your mind at any time from the banner settings or by clearing your cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • The right of access to the data we hold about you
  • The right to have inaccurate data corrected
  • The right to erasure (the "right to be forgotten")
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object to processing
  • The right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand

For any of these, write to us using the details on the contact page. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
